Lexington League Annual Meeting Update

The LWV of Lexington held its Annual Meeting virtually due to the Coronavirus pandemic.  We elected the following  slate as presented by the Nominating Committee:

Additionally, we had two guest speakers, LFUCG Council Member Amanda Mays Bledsoe, Chair Budget Finance and Economic Development, updating us on the LFUCG Budget; and Don Blevin's Jr., Fayette County Clerk, providing insight into some the significant changes and challenges the Coronavirus pandemic has presented in terms of conducting the Primary Election. Members enjoyed having the meeting via Zoom and reported being able to hear the speakers more clearly than at some in-person meetings. The other benefit of Zoom is that we were able to record the speakers to share with members who could not attend. Please find links below for each speaker.
