LOUISVILLE: The League of Women Voters of Kentucky will celebrate its 100th anniversary, as well as the 100th anniversary of the enactment of the19th amendment to the U.S. Constitution, Thursday, February 13, 1 PM, Kentucky State Capitol Rotunda, Frankfort.
Activities will include a proclamation by Governor Andy Beshear, performances by the Women’s Suffrage Centennial Chorus, and special recognition of women in elected office (House, Senate, statewide constitutional offices). League members will celebrate while rallying support for their current legislative priorities. The event will include light refreshments for all and is open to the public.
