This Study Committee regularly meets on the fourth Tuesday at 5PM ET/4PM CT but has a different meeting time for December. Committee members are studying whether Kentucky should retain our closed primary system or adopt an open primary format, and, if so, which type. We will also be studying the pros and cons of ranked choice voting and whether Kentucky should adopt some form of it. The committee's research will be presented to League members to determine if we arrive at consensus/concurrence to adopt positions under which LWVKY can act.
