March with LWVKY to Commemorate Selma

The LWVKY has been invited by Senator Gerald Neal of Louisville to participate in a Selma Reenactment March for Voting Rights to commemorate the 55th anniversary of the crossing of the Pettus Bridge in Selma, AL. The Reenactment March will take place on Sunday, March 1 at 2 pm EST (line-up begins at 1 pm) in Frankfort—occurring simultaneously with the reenactment in Selma.  The League supports this emphasis on voting rights and encourages members from throughout the state to participate.
