Louisville League of Women Voters Annual Meeting Update

Lang House, headquarters for the League for Women Voters of Louisville, was closed following the COVID 19 Pandemic shutdown; however, this did not stop the League from taking care of business. Committees continued to meet, gather, review and share information relevant to goals and objectives using ZOOM or teleconference. In addition, the League implemented a robust effort to encourage the community to get out to vote by first applying for an absentee ballot and then voting either by mail-in ballot or in person at a designated poll. Plans are for the Lang House to re-open in June with the expectation that COVID 19 Guidelines will be followed.
