2020 Voter Registration Campaign for Citizens with Prior Felony Convictions

In December 2019, the Governor issued an Executive Order that has now restored voting rights to over 175,000 Kentuckians who have completed their sentences for non-violent felony convictions.  Now is the time for those citizens to register to vote!

2020 LWVKY Registration Campaign of persons with prior felonies is underway! Read more about what we’ve done and how you can join us!

  • Click CHECK YOUR STATUS

  • Enter your name and date of birth

  • Check if you are eligible for automatic restoration

If you did not have your voting rights restored as part of the Executive Order, you were convicted in Kentucky (not Federal or other state), you have served your sentence and do not owe restitution, you may be able to apply for individual clemency by completing and submitting the Application for Restoration of Civil Rights.
